Research Interests:
Dr. Tutzauer has research interests in conflict, social networks, and the mathematical modeling of communicative behavior. His primary research deals with interpersonal conflict in general, and bargaining and negotiation in particular. His studies of the bargaining process have appeared in such journals as Behavioral Science, Communication Research, and Communication Yearbook. More recently, he has been studying the dynamics of an infinite-choice, continuous-time Prisoners Dilemma. Professor Tutzauer teaches courses on conflict, social interaction, interpersonal communication, quantitative methods, and judgment and decision making.
