Research Interests:
Dr. Saxton's research is in the area of new media and organizational communication, with a special concentration on nonprofit organizations. Current projects focus on the impact of “stock bloggers” on market efficiency and information asymmetries, on nonprofit organizations’ use of Web technologies to engage organizational stakeholders, on the participatory effects of technological diffusion, and on the determinants and impacts of nonprofits’ Web networks. He has also published extensively on nationalist social movement organizations.
